From PJ Library to PJ Our Way

 In Engaging, Sprout

“Before we had a kid, we had very few children’s books about Jewish things. Now, we have a huge library!” ~The Goldberg Family, Livermore

The Goldbergs are parents to one of the 2,700 East Bay children who get free Jewish books and music from PJ Library. For seven years, they read to their daughter Esther, who experienced the wonders of story time while learning Jewish history, values, and tradition.

Esther was sad when she aged out of the program as she turned eight, but Esther can now sign up for PJ Our Way and receive free Jewish books up until her twelfth birthday — and even personally choose one of four books each month.

PJ Library and PJ Our Way are made possible by generous funding from the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Libitzky Family Foundation of The Jewish Community Foundation.
