Our vision is one of a vibrant, connected Jewish community that embraces, engages and inspires its members, a lifelong community that grows as we do. The Jewish Federation and The Jewish Community Foundation of the East Bay work to provide resources – educational, cultural, social and financial – that enhance the Jewish experience today and ensure the strength and vitality of our community for years to come. We strive to protect and enrich Jewish life through planning efforts and funding priorities that make certain the vital needs of our community are being met at home and around the world. We cultivate and develop leaders who will teach Jewish values to new generations. And, through our programs and services, we create meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to celebrate Jewish living and connect with the community here and in Israel in ways that reinforce our Jewish identity.
