Sprouts Family Days: Join us for a magical journey of discovery, play and exploration on our farm. The veggies, the animals, the soil, the songs, the stories and the games – it’s like the best of Sprouts summer camp all in one morning! Bring your family down to the farm for an amazing morning and picnic lunch with other families and the Urban Adamah educators.

From 10:00-11:30 am we’ll gather and explore the farm. At 11:30 am we’ll settle in the shade and eat lunch as a community (bring your own)! For families with children 3-5 years old. If you’ve got a toddler, feel free to bring them along and explore the farm at your own pace.

Sprouts Family Days are by free, but space is very limited. Participants must register in advance to guarantee a space in the program.

HandsOn Holidays: Passover Celebration for Families with Young Children! @ Easton Hall

Join other families in a cozy and welcoming environment to celebrate this freedom holiday.

We’ll sing Passover songs and hear how Moses led the Jewish people out of Egypt, led by Rabbi Bridget Wynne and beloved Jewish songleader Isaac Zones We’ll also enjoy a hands-on service project, yummy Passover treats, and more.

Jewish Gateways’ HandsOn Holiday events are for children 1-5 and their grownups. Older siblings and babies are also welcome.

Enjoy the participatory, small group setting, which offers the beauty of a havurah (friendship group) with the flexibility and diversity that’s right for modern families.

WHEN: Sunday, April 9, 10:30am-noon

WHERE: The comfortable living room of Easton Hall, 2401 Ridge Road, Berkeley 94709. Accessible to the disabled.

WHO: All are welcome, including interfaith, LGBTQ, and adoptive families; single parents; and grandparents. No Jewish knowledge or experience is necessary. Feel free to invite friends who might be interested!

HOW: Fee per family is $30, plus $5 per sibling over 5. Space is limited, so preregistration is recommended.

OPTIONAL: Please consider helping local homeless youth by bringing nutrition bars or cold cereal to donate to YEAH!, Berkeley’s shelter for youth engagement, advocacy, and housing.
