Nurturing the Nurturer: Self Care for Parents & Caregivers
with Marla Rosen of Jewish Family and Community Services East Bay

When life is busy with children, family, work and other relationships, it’s easy to put ourselves on the “back burner.” In this parenting workshop, discuss strategies to support healthy boundaries, increased self-awareness, and realistic ways in which you can build in time to care for yourself.

Marla Rosen is an early childhood mental health consultant and therapist at Jewish Family & Community Services East Bay. She has a Masters in Early Childhood Education from the Erikson Institute and is a registered MFTI intern.

Childcare drop off 6:00 – 6:30pm
Workshop 6:30 – 7:30pm
Questions and pickup 7:30 – 8:00pm

Sprouts Family Days: Join us for a magical journey of discovery, play and exploration on our farm. The veggies, the animals, the soil, the songs, the stories and the games – it’s like the best of Sprouts summer camp all in one morning! Bring your family down to the farm for an amazing morning and picnic lunch with other families and the Urban Adamah educators.

From 10:00-11:30 am we’ll gather and explore the farm. At 11:30 am we’ll settle in the shade and eat lunch as a community (bring your own)! For families with children 3-5 years old. If you’ve got a toddler, feel free to bring them along and explore the farm at your own pace.

Sprouts Family Days are by free, but space is very limited. Participants must register in advance to guarantee a space in the program.
