Women's Philanthropy Division

Join other dedicated local women who help enrich Jewish life in our community, in Israel and around the world. women have become increasing powerful as leaders, policy makers and philanthropists, contributing over one-third of the Annual Campaign nationally and in the greater East Bay.

The Annual Campaign provides a resource of unrestricted funds that encompass a variety of vital services. Through support of the Annual Campaign, and through its programs and events, the Women’s Philanthropy Division continues the Jewish values of tzedakah (charitable giving) and tikkun olam (repairing the world).

For information on Women's programs, contact Melissa Cowen, Campaign Associate, at 510.318.6447 or email melissa@jfed.org.

Why Get Involved?

I serve on the Women's Philanthropy Board because it nurtures me through education, friendship and purpose. The Women’s Philanthropy Division provides a window on the "greater" Jewish world. I can learn about Jews from all the streams of our religion, all ages and needs.
