Department of Special Educational Services

Koach L’lamed L’Kulam (the Power to Teach All of Our Children), the CJLL Special Needs Initiative, supports meaningful involvement in Jewish communal life, high quality Jewish educational experiences and respect for diverse learners.  To this end we provide a wide range of professional development opportunities, including the Tikvah Program. The Tikvah workshops provide professional development for teachers in East Bay Jewish day schools, religious schools and preschools. In addition, the Department of Special Educational Services provides classroom observation, consultation, networking, programmatic design and community building.
