The Community Impact department, formerly the CJLL and Planning departments, was born out of the Jewish Federation's strategic planning process. The department incorporates many of the Federation's most dynamic and successful programs, including PJ Library, EastBayJews, and The Richard Lesser Memorial Symposium for Leadership — all focusing on outreach, engagement, innovative programs and building relationships and community.
The Community Impact department strives to provide all Jews in the East Bay a welcoming and accessible entry to Jewish life through unique opportunities and strong connections with the full spectrum of local partner Jewish agencies.
